A Low risk of black cutworm migration is predicted tonight into tomorrow morning across much of eastern Texas, far southwest Arkansas, and western Louisiana as southwest winds may blow some migrants northeast from deep south Texas and northeast Mexico. With planting underway especially across Texas, earliest planted fields may see an isolated threat of black cutworms develop with additional heat unit accumulations and emergence in the next several weeks from this potential overnight flight. No other risks are predicted at this time.
