Alert Details

A cold front will continue to advance southeast across the corn-growing region over the next 24 hours, and should be in the Ohio River valley and points southeast by later tomorrow. Ahead of the front, southwest winds will continue for one more night along with continued rainfall chances. Migration risks will be present but are just in the Low category today due to continuing rainfall in the source region and also further northeast which should limit the ability for larger-scale flights to occur. The primary risk tonight is mainly east of a line from Columbia, Missouri to near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. No additional risks are in the forecast through early next week as northwest flow returns to much of the corn-growing region through that time period.
