Low corn earworm migration risks are predicted mainly in weak southerly wind flow ahead of a cold front moving into the Mississippi River valley this weekend. Low risks are predicted tonight into tomorrow from Kansas, Nebraska, and Minnesota east as far as Lake Michigan and into Illinois. Little to no risk is predicted thereafter with northwest flow once again making an appearance and limiting any southerly flow events, but growers should continue to check traps and scout fields as recent migrants were possible.
