Alert Details

The weather pattern is expected to be predominantly northwest to southeast through the next week. As a result, corn earworm migration risks are not expected to be of much concern despite the time of year. A cold frontal passage late week into next weekend may pose a Low risk of some isolated flights occurring especially generally west of I-69 and US 127 in Michigan and Indiana on Thursday night into Friday and east of a line from Springfield, Missouri to near Green Bay, Wisconsin Friday night into Saturday morning. The quick-moving nature of the front should limit the amount of time that corn earworm moths will be available for movement to the north. No other migration risks are predicted in the next five days.
