Alert Details

After a late week and weekend likely to be dominated by cooler than average temperatures and northwest flow, a new low pressure area is likely to develop over the southern Plains states as high pressure drifts into the southeastern United States. Southerly winds may result in some isolated moth flights next Monday night into Tuesday morning into a portion of the corn-growing region from eastern Kansas into Indiana, and as far north as I-80 in Iowa and Illinois. Otherwise, no additional risks are in the forecast at this time.
