How to Read the Maps
Low corn earworm migration risks return to the forecast by the Day 2 period and continue into Day 3 as a low pressure system and cold front slowly push across the center of the country. Southerly wind flow will be rather limited along and ahead of this front and precipitation may hamper longer distance migrations. Therefore, only Low migration risks are in place mainly across Missouri and northern Arkansas on Day 2 and into the lower Ohio and Tennessee River valleys on Day 3.
