Alert Details

A cold front is likely to pass through the corn-growing region over the next 24-36 hours, followed by a rather expansive area of high pressure that should stay across the central/eastern corn-growing region into early next week. The positioning of the high pressure is likely to limit any southerly flow that may result in potential migration events, so no risks are in the forecast through early next week. Growers with crops at susceptible stages to damage, however, should continue to monitor their traps and scout fields as some moths may have flown into the corn-growing region especially last weekend.
