No risk of corn earworm migration is predicted in the next five days. It appears that remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon should stay far enough south and east that migration risks into remaining susceptible fields (especially in the northern corn-growing region) will be very little to none at this point. Growers with crops still at growth stages were damage could occur, however, should continue to monitor traps and scout fields until the crop reaches a point where it is no longer susceptible to corn earworm damage, or is harvested.
