Alert Details

Corn rootwork beetle risks remain in the Moderate category for the next week as there may still be some areas that could see at least isolated to scattered issues, but the primary concern at this point is for growers to continue scouting efforts simply to see where beetle populations are present for purposes of planning for next year’s potential crop planting adjustments. Fields from northeast Colorado into far northwest Kansas, Nebraska, the Dakotas, Iowa, Minnesota, central and northern Illinois, Wisconsin, lower Michigan, northern Indiana, and northern Ohio as well as into southern Ontario, Canada should all continue at least some level of scouting for the next week.
