Corn rootworm hatch will likely continue across a large portion of the corn-growing region in the next five days. Fields from eastern Colorado into Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio are all at risk. Additionally, fields in southwest Ontario, Canada may also see corn rootworm hatch. Adult emergence may also occur especially in fields from west central Illinois eastward into central Indiana. Growers across the corn-growing region should monitor their fields closely and take appropriate action when and where needed.
