Corn rootworm risks remain across a large portion of the corn-growing region. Fields from northeast Colorado into northern and central Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and southwest Ontario, Canada are all at risk of seeing scattered problems caused by corn rootworms. Beetles will continue to make their presence known in scattered locations and growers should monitor their fields and the beetle population and take appropriate action if warranted in the next week.
