Corn rootworm hatch is predicted to continue (if it has not already started) across a large portion of the corn-growing region in the next week. Fields from northeast Colorado into Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, southern and southwest Michigan, central and southern Wisconsin, and southern Minnesota are at risk of seeing new or additional corn rootworm hatches in the next week. Growers in these areas should be on the alert for larvae appearing in their fields if they have not already done so.
