Corn rootworm hatch is predicted to either commence or continue across the southern and central corn-growing region from eastern Colorado through Kansas, southeast Nebraska, northern Missouri, southern and central Iowa, central Illinois, central Indiana, and into Ohio this week. Additional hatches will be possible in the next week in eastern Nebraska, northern Iowa, northern Illinois, far southwest and south central Wisconsin, southern lower Michigan, far southwest Ontario, Canada, northern Indiana, and northern/eastern Ohio. Growers located near or in the risk area should monitor their fields for new larvae in the next week.
