How to Read the Maps
Corn rootworm hatch has occurred across all of the corn-growing region where this particular insect resides. Fields from northeast Colorado into northern Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, much of lower Michigan, northern/central Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio may all see continued beetle activity in the next week. Growers should monitor their fields for larvae and beetles in addition to signs of damage from corn rootworm.
