Soybean aphids may continue to pose a threat to late or re-planted fields especially in the upper Midwest in the next week. Moderate risks remain in place from eastern North Dakota southeast into central Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin where some scattered soybean aphid problems may still occur. Low risks are in place from northeast Nebraska into northwest Iowa as well as eastern South and North Dakota, southern and central Minnesota, and Wisconsin where Moderate risks are not predicted. Additional Low risks extend east into lower Michigan and also into southern Ontario, Canada. Growers are advised to continue to scout fields that are in growth stages prior to R6 as some late-season soybean aphid infestations may still reach or exceed economic thresholds in the coming week.
