There is little to no threat to soybean plants from soybean aphids in the next five days. Colonization of soybean aphid on soybeans from buckthorn is taking place especially along and north of I-90 at this time, but crop growth stage is not at a critical stage where damage will occur. Growers may want to do a little scouting on any slower days/times just to determine what local populations may be over the next few weeks but there is no threat to the crop at this point.
