Soybean aphid risks are in the Low category for the next week across portions of the northern soybean-growing region from Minnesota, Wisconsin, far northern Iowa, and into the far eastern Dakotas. With the majority of the soybean crop in the R5-R6 growth stage or beyond at this point in the growing season, the overall threat from soybean aphid populations potentially impacting yields has lessened. Still, late or re-planted fields or those that have not reached the R5.5-R6 growth stage may still be at risk and regular scouting should continue until the overall threat has passed.
