How to Read the Maps
Western bean cutworm peak flight continues especially across portions of southeastern Ontario and southwest Quebec, Canada and adjacent sections of northwest Pennsylvania and New York state. High and Moderate risks are in place in these areas for the next five days. Overall, however, risk areas and levels are being reduced as peak flight is now complete across the majority of the corn-growing region. Growers in High/Moderate risk areas should continue to monitor their fields for western bean cutworm activity and take appropriate action if necessary.
