Western bean cutworm risks remain across portions of the Great Lakes region and into Canada but the overall threat from this insect this growing season is on the decline as peak flights have now occurred at nearly all field locations. High risks remain in place across portions of southern Ontario and also into extreme southwest Quebec through this week. Moderate risks stretch from eastern Michigan into Ontario and Quebec but eventually focus just in Canada by the end of the week. Some moth activity is still being observed in Wisconsin, western, northern, and central lower Michigan, and also portions of New York state so Low risks remain in place across these areas through this week.
