Corn rootworm hatch is expected to continue in fields from northeast Colorado into Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio through the next five days. Additionally, some fields in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin may also see initial corn rootworm hatch begin by early next week. With additional confirmation reports of rootworms across the risk area, growers are urged to monitor their fields for small larvae and take appropriate action when and where needed.
