Black Cutworm
A period of several days of predominantly north to northwest winds is expected to prevail across much of the central and southern United States as we move through the weekend and into early next week. Another storm system, however, will likely develop in the central and northern Plains by Tuesday or Wednesday next week, and this system should result in south to southwest winds returning to the southern Plains and central/eastern Midwest. As a result, Low black cutworm migration risks are predicted next Tuesday night into Wednesday morning for eastern Texas into eastern Oklahoma, southwest Arkansas, and northwest Louisiana to account for the potential of some isolated moth flights into these regions. Otherwise, no other risks are in the forecast.
