Black cutworm migration risks return to the forecast next Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as the next low pressure system develops in the Plains. Southerly winds will be ushered in to the east of the low pressure system and trailing cold front, and could lead to some isolated black cutworm moth flights from eastern Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois north as far as Minnesota and Wisconsin at that time. Wind speeds are not expected to be as strong as they were this past week, so only Low risks are in the forecast at this time.
