Black cutworm migration risks enter the picture once again late this week into the weekend with the next potential cold front. South to southwest winds are expected to commence across the Plains especially by Thursday with a Low risk Thursday night into Friday morning mainly north of I-80 from Nebraska and Iowa north into South Dakota and east into Minnesota. Low risks then expand east to Lake Michigan Friday night into Saturday as the cold front sags southeast, taking the southerly winds and potential precipitation chances with it. No additional risks are in the forecast at this time at the start of the period or late in the weekend given unfavorable expected wind flow.
