Alert Details

Low black cutworm migration risks are predicted tonight into tomorrow morning primarily across northern Nebraska, South Dakota, eastern North Dakota, Minnesota, and northwest Iowa as south to southwest winds may lead to some isolated moth flights into this region ahead of a cold front. The cold front is expected to push further southeast tomorrow into tomorrow night, so Low risks are confined to fields in northeast Nebraska, far southeast South Dakota, southeast Minnesota, Wisconsin, northern Iowa, and far northern Illinois. Despite what looks to be a somewhat warm and humid weekend for a good portion of the corn-growing region, wind flow is not expected to be favorable for any migration risks, thus no further risks are being issued after midday Friday.
