Black Cutworm
A strong cold front is expected to pass through the corn-growing region in the next 24-36 hours. A period of southwesterly winds, occasionally gusty in nature, will bring at least an isolated black cutworm moth flight possibility especially to the southeast half or so of the corn-growing region from Kansas, Iowa, and Wisconsin southeast. Once this system passes, it appears that northwest flow will lock back into the area for at least the rest of this week and potentially beyond, so no additional risks are in the forecast at this time after Tuesday.
