Alert Details

Low black cutworm migration risks are predicted overnight tonight into tomorrow morning as a cold front moves across the corn-growing region. South to southeast winds in advance of the cold front may pose an isolated migration risk especially from I-35 in Missouri, Iowa, and southeast Minnesota east as far as southwest lower Michigan, Indiana, and far western Ohio. Once this front moves through, however, a rather deep and anomalous northwest flow pattern for this time of year is likely for the rest of the week and into the weekend, and potentially beyond that, so little to no migration risk is predicted after midday Tuesday for the foreseeable future.
