There is little to no black cutworm migration risk predicted in the next five days. Northwest flow is expected to dominate the weather once again over the next week or so, with only brief and mainly light periods of southerly winds. Growers with newly emerged corn in the early vegetative growth stages, however, are encouraged to continue scouting efforts especially where flights were documented several weeks to a month ago as larvae may now be present.
