Black Cutworm
Black cutworm migration risks are in the forecast beginning Sunday night and continuing into the middle of next week as a rather slow-moving but strong low pressure system moves through the central and eastern portion of the corn-growing region. South to southwest winds to the east of a trailing cold front along the Mississippi River are expected to be common across the eastern corn-growing region. Low migration risks are predicted along/east of I-55 in southeast Missouri and central Illinois to account for a favorable weather pattern early next week.
