Black cutworm migration risks return to the forecast by next Tuesday night into Wednesday as another low pressure system develops in the western Plains states. Southerly winds are expected to increase to the east of this low, mainly along/west of Lake Michigan and the I-57 corridor in eastern Illinois. Low risks are predicted generally west of these two features at this time. It appears the continued active weather pattern is likely to remain through the end of the month so stay tuned for potential new (and elevated) migration risks.
