Black Cutworm
Low black cutworm migration risks are in the forecast tonight into tomorrow morning primarily from southeast Illinois into Indiana, western Ohio, and southern lower Michigan. Isolated moth flights into the latest planted fields (especially those planted in June) will be possible as a cold front pushes southeast through the area later tonight into tomorrow morning. South to southwest winds will be originating over the mid-south region where some moths may still be present. Growers that recently planted in the risk area should monitor for new flights over the next few days. Otherwise, no additional risks are in the forecast at this time.
