Another storm system is predicted to move through the corn-growing region this weekend and into early next week. This system will be in a decaying phase by early next week in comparison to the one that just went through that was strengthening, so this will likely limit the magnitude of black cutworm migration that occurs into the corn-growing region. Nonetheless, Low risks are predicted from eastern Kansas, Missouri, and southern Illinois as far north as eastern South Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin tomorrow night into Sunday. Low risks then continue in the forecast Sunday night into Monday mainly from Missouri, eastern Iowa, and southern Wisconsin east into the southern Great Lakes and eastern corn-growing region.
