Low black cutworm migration risks are predicted this weekend into early next week as yet another weather system moves through a portion of the corn-growing region. Southerly winds are likely to be present especially across the southern half or so of the area, and Low risks are predicted mainly south of I-90/94 west of Lake Michigan and I-96 (in Michigan) from Saturday night into Monday morning. Growers should continue trapping and scouting efforts especially in newly-emerged corn fields where black cutworm damage is most likely.
