Low black cutworm migration risks are in the forecast late Saturday into Sunday especially from eastern Kansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota east as far as Wisconsin and Illinois. A low pressure system and attendant cold front are expected to push east this weekend into early next week. A corridor of southerly winds east of the cold front may allow for some isolated black cutworm migration to occur from source regions in Texas during this time. Otherwise, little to no migration risk is currently anticipated at this time.
