A couple opportunities for black cutworm migration are in the forecast over the next 4-5 days. The first continues tonight into tomorrow especially across the Great Lakes and eastern corn-growing region as a cold front moves east into this area. Only Low risks are predicted as southerly winds east of the front are not expected to be as strong as last night and this morning. The second risk window comes across virtually the same area later Sunday into Monday as a quick-moving low pressure system develops in the southern Plains states and moves into the Mississippi River valley. Additional low risks are predicted to the east of this feature by the end of the weekend and into early next week.
