Black Cutworm
Low black cutworm migration risks are predicted for tomorrow night into Thursday from roughly central Kansas, eastern Nebraska, and Minnesota as far east as lower Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky as a fairly strong cold front begins to move southeast through the corn-growing region. South to southwest winds will increase later tomorrow into Thursday, and may pose a threat for some mainly isolated black cutworm moth flights. Once this front moves through, however, west to northwest winds are expected to return and should greatly limit any further migration risk by the end of the week and into next weekend.
