Insect Alert For
Volunteer Corn. Yes or No_
Affected Area:
Alert Details
There is little to no risk of corn earworm migration in the next five days. Despite a somewhat warm and humid weather pattern (especially across the southwest half or so) of the corn-growing region, southerly wind flow is rather weak overall and crop stage is not at a critical stage despite being early July. By late week, northwest flow is expected to take hold so there is little chance for any migration events to occur.
