Little to no corn earworm migration is predicted in the next five days. The track of the tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico is expected to stay near the Mississippi River valley this weekend into early next week versus further west across Texas, so corn earworm migration risks are lower with a further east track. Nonetheless, the system will be monitored and a Low risk may still be placed across the southern portion of the corn-growing region tomorrow to account for track variability/change over the weekend.
