Alert Details

As a cold front pushes through the Great Lakes region and eastern Midwest in the next 24 hours, southwesterly winds in advance of the front may pose an isolated corn earworm migration risk especially from northern Indiana and Ohio into lower Michigan and Ontario later this evening into early tomorrow morning. Wind speeds are not expected to be very high but a short distance flight is possible but only on an isolated basis.

Thereafter, no migration risk is predicted due to a lack of stronger southerly or northerly wind flow and high pressure largely taking control over the central United States.
