Corn Earworm
Low corn earworm migration risks are in the forecast tomorrow night into Wednesday mainly across the southern Great Lakes region and into the eastern corn-growing region as a cold front moves east into this region. Modest south to southwest wind flow east of the front originating from mid-south and southern corn-growing region source regions may lead to some isolated moth flights into this region. An additional Low risk is also predicted for Wednesday night into Thursday west of Lake Michigan ahead of the next cold front. South to southwest winds may actually be a little stronger in this region, but the expected short duration of winds limits a higher risk at this time.
