Corn Earworm
Low corn earworm migration risks are predicted both tomorrow night and also Sunday night into Monday across portions of the northern corn-growing region as a cold front moves through the area. Low risks focus from northeast Nebraska into eastern South Dakota, Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and northern Iowa tomorrow night with a slightly further eastward shift into much of Wisconsin and also northern Illinois Sunday night into Monday as the cold front moves southeast. Processors and fresh market growers that still have crops at susceptible stages to corn earworm damage should continue to monitor traps and scout fields until harvest. Little to no additional migration risk is currently predicted early-mid next week.
