A strong cold front is expected to sweep across much of the corn-growing region this weekend. A corridor of south to southwest winds is expected ahead of this front especially in the Friday-Saturday time frame, and a Low migration risk has been introduced to the forecast with growing confidence in frontal timing especially in southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, northern Illinois, Wisconsin, southwest lower Michigan, and into northern Indiana. Greatest concern is in remaining fresh market and processing fields north of Madison, Wisconsin and also fresh market fields in southwest lower Michigan.
