Alert Details

There is little to no risk for corn earworm migration in the next five days. Growers especially in the southeastern half or so of the corn-growing region, but especially those in the southern Great Lakes area where more fresh market or vegetable production is present, are encouraged to monitor traps and scout fields as some moth flights may have occurred in the last week given favorable weather conditions and at least some plants (sweet corn, tomatoes) being at a favorable stage of growth where some damage could occur.
