Corn Earworm
A cold front is expected to continue to make somewhat slow progress to the southeast today, with south to southwest winds affecting the southeastern third or so of the corn-growing region ahead of the front. Any isolated corn earworm migration will likely occur southeast of this front and near/up to precipitation areas, so fields from southeast Missouri into southern and eastern Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, southern lower Michigan, and far southwest lower Ontario, Canada are in the Low risk through tomorrow. Little to no additional migration risk is predicted after tomorrow, but growers are encouraged to continue monitoring traps and scouting vulnerable fields.
