Corn Earworm
Low corn earworm migration risks are in the forecast tomorrow night into Sunday mainly west of Lake Michigan as a new low pressure system develops in the High Plains and southern Canada. Southerly winds in advance of a cold front south of the low may result in some isolated moth flights over short distances into remaining processing and fresh market fields in the northern corn-growing region. Additional Low risks are predicted as far east as southwest lower Michigan and northern Indiana Sunday night into Monday, and finally east of I-55 in Illinois Monday night into Tuesday as the front moves southeast.
