Insect Alert For
Corn Earworm
Affected Area:
Alert Details
There is little to no risk for corn earworm migration in the next five days. Growers with crops at susceptible stages to corn earworm damage, however, should continue to monitor traps and scout fields as some moths may have recently arrived and some new generations from flights that occurred in late June or early July may now be present. Prospects for migration may increase by mid-late next week.
