Alert Details

Low corn earworm migration risks are in the forecast tonight into tomorrow mainly across portions of Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois where southerly winds will be present along/south of a warm front. Showers and thunderstorms are likely to become numerous near and north of this front as southerly winds feed into the region. Some corn earworm moths may fly from mid-south and southern Plains source regions, mainly west of the Mississippi River, tonight into tomorrow. Once this system moves through, however, northwest flow is expected to really lock in place and little, if any, migration risk is predicted late week and into next weekend.
