Alert Details

Low corn earworm migration risks are in the forecast the next two nights as low pressure continues to develop and churn across the western High Plains region, while high pressure drifts in the eastern Great Lakes and southeastern Canada. Southerly winds in between these two pressure centers may result in some isolated, mainly short-distance corn earworm moth flights especially west of Lake Michigan both tonight into tomorrow and again tomorrow night into Saturday. Fresh market and processing growers in this region are encouraged to continue trap monitoring and field scouting until harvest.
