Corn Earworm
A cold front is likely to move through much of the corn-growing region by late tomorrow. Just east of the front, southerly winds may lead to some isolated corn earworm moth flights tonight into tomorrow morning from the mid-south region into Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, western and central Kentucky, southern lower Michigan, and western Ohio. This isn’t a blockbuster setup but given the time of year and a maturing mid-south crop, some isolated and potentially intense flights may occur. Little, if any, corn earworm migration risk is predicted the rest of the week as northwest flow and much cooler and less humid air moves in.
