Corn earworm migration risks are in the forecast next Sunday night into Tuesday especially across the southwestern portion of the corn-growing region. Low pressure is expected to develop in the central Plains with a warm front southeast of the low across Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri. Southerly winds will be present south of this boundary, and this is the favored area for potential corn earworm migration. Low migration risks extend mainly along and south of the I-80 corridor and as far east as southwest Indiana and western Kentucky through this aforementioned period.
