Corn Earworm
There is little to no risk for corn earworm migration in the next five days. Growers all across the corn-growing region, however, should continue regular scouting and trap checking as numerous flights have occurred in many different areas in the past several weeks to month, and new flights may have occurred as early as last night in some areas. We may need to include a new risk area for a portion of the weekend as a new weather system organizes in the Plains, but for now northwest flow should keep any migration possibilities out of the corn-growing region for the balance of the week.
